I recently needed to know what fuse controlled what, and after doing a search, I found that several others didn't have access to their owners manual to decode fuse X does Y. 

Here is a diagram from my manual for a 98.5 A4 1.8T with manual trans. As the book says "Some of the equipment listed is found on certain models only or may be options." Also, your car may differ from mine - so don't complain to me if the data doesn't match.
