Audi is New Automobile Partner of Real Madrid

Continuing its strategy of forming partnerships with leaders in global sports, Audi signed an agreement today with Real Madrid football club, recently crowned as Spanish League Champions, to become the club’s automobile partner for the next three seasons.

The agreement was signed today at the Audi Forum in Madrid by Florentino Pérez, President of Real Madrid C.F. and Dr. Martin Winterkorn, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG.

“Audi and Real Madrid is a perfect partnership of equals. We can both look back at over 100 years of international success and we are both committed to even greater success in our respective fields in the future”, said Dr. Winterkorn. „Our partnership with a club such as Real Madrid will create a positive impact for Audi not just in Spain, but in football-loving countries throughout the world”.

As of today, Audi will, through its Spanish importer, make 30 vehicles available to the team and management of Real Madrid football club. The agreement signed today enables Audi to promote itself inside the Bernabéu stadium and to publicise its new partnership using images of the entire Real Madrid team.
