Audi Q3 takes first place in “2012 OFF ROAD AWARD”

· Audi Q3 triumphs in the “Crossover” category

· 2nd place for Audi Q5 and A6 allroad quattro

· Magazine’s readers chose from 143 cars

Ingolstadt, – The readers of OFF ROAD magazine chose the Audi Q3 as their favorite off-road vehicle in the “Crossover” category. The Audi Q5 and the A6 allroad quattro each took second place in the categories “SUV” and “Luxury Crossover,” respectively.

The Audi Q3 has only been on the market since November 2011 and already enjoys great popularity. Featuring a coupe-like design, efficiency and a high level of everyday practicality, it rounds out the successful Q family.

The Audi Q5 is also a favorite of the magazine’s readers, taking second place in the “SUV “category. The Q5 combines the dynamics of a sporty sedan with a highly variable interior space. It is also available as a full hybrid.

The readers of OFF ROAD cast a total of 57,288 votes for 143 models in 12 categories this year. Thomas Felbermair, Head of Sales Germany for AUDI AG, accepted the awards in Munich this evening.
