Fog City Performance’s Audi S5 Makes SEMA Debut

Fog City Performance has recently shown their 2008 Audi S5 at the 2007 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV. The Audi was located at the Vredestein Tire Booth.

This is the first Audi S5 modified in the USA. Fog City Performance teamed up with several major players in the tuning world for this special SEMA project.

The car is equipped with the first KW V3 Inox Line coilover suspension manufactured. The new Variant 3 is state-of-the-art technology for the skilled and experienced driver. The separate and independent compression and rebound damping options allow a truly individual driving set-up. These unique systems with the three individually adjustable components allow for adjustment of the compression of the damper in the low-speed range, while the high-speed set-up which is so decisive for driving comfort has been preset by KW engineers. The S5 is rolling on the new Vellano VSF 3-piece Forged wheels with 6061 T6 centers and barrels. To reach max performance on the street the car is running Vredestein Sessanta 255/30ZR20 rubber all around. Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta is the newest ace in the Ultra High Performance (UHP) segment. The Sessanta is based on the strong points of the Ultrac series and has been optimized even further to give very good steering and handling characteristics.

As Fog City Performance is mainly know as Warehouse Dealer for KW Suspensions, Vellano Wheels and Vredestein tires they contacted Tomas Sport Tuning, the SF Bay Area’s #1 VW/Audi tuner, for help with the project. Tomas Sport Tuning was recently featured on Speed Channel’s Redline TV. The car can also be viewed at Tomas Sport Tuning’s facilities in San Pablo, CA.
