Klaus Straub is to take over as Head of “Information Technology and Organisation” at AUDI AG in the function of CIO (Chief Information Officer) with effect from 1 October 2004. Straub (40) will succeed Klaus Hardy Mühleck (49), who is to move to Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg from 1 October 2004 where he will become Head of Management Organisation and Systems.

Straub began his career at Mercedes-Benz AG in 1990 where he held several managerial posts in various areas of the company. From 2001 he was employed at Siemens VDO Automotive AG as CIO and Corp. Vice President.
