Making an Audi RS6 Scream with an Akrapovic Exhaust

By -

If you want additional performance and sound out of your Audi RS6, an Audi Sport exhaust system may be your fix.

Audi offers most of its cars in three flavors A, S, and RS. The A is the standard car, which is the quietest and most comfortable option. Any A level car will take you on your work commute in complete comfort and luxury. The S level offers you a sporty driving experience. The suspension is set up for sport driving and the car includes a higher performance engine to match the looks. The S level cars are great for the fine line of comfort and sport in a every day car. For most customers, an S6 is all the car they will ever need. So, what if you want all the performance?

In this video, YouTuber MrJWW is taking his RS6 wagon to install an Audi Sport exhaust system. This titanium system is built by Akrapovic, but is the official system of Audi Sport.

“While this is an Akrapovic system, it has been developed directly with Audi,” MrJWW says. “It is the No. 1 reason I chose it is because it is an official Audi Sport certified product.”

This means a dealer can install the system and you get to keep your warranty.

Audi’s top tier performance cars all carry an RS badge, which stands for RennSport or Racing Sport. The Audi RS6 is one of the coolest cars Audi sells today. It is a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, all-wheel drive, wide-body wagon. It has 553 horsepower in standard trim and almost 600 horsepower in Performance trim. The RS6 does 0-60 mph in 3.7 and all while being a practical mid-size wagon. So, it can haul your kids, your groceries, and some serious ass. The top speed is just under 190 mph.
