Next generation Audi Q5 caught testing

Our sister site MotorAuthority obtained some spy photos of what appears to be the next generation Q5 being tested.

The photo shows what appears to be some familiar elements carried over from the Q7, such as the new grille shape and mirrors, some Q3-esque elements, such as the lower grilles, and the very familiar C pillar shape from the current Q5. The lower doors have an updated looking cladding, as well as what appears to be plastic cladding on the fender lips, though that could also be camouflage.

We would assume engine choices might mirror the previous (current) generation car, though time will tell on that. Along with the excellent new generation 2.0TFSI engines, we would expect the upcoming 3.0L turbo engine from the S4 to find its way into the B9 generation Q5.
