Racing into the sunset – Audi Sport’s Wolfgang Ullrich retires

Any fan of Audi racing through the years should know the name Wolfgang Ullrich. Until very recently he was the head of Audi motorsport, and oversaw all Audi racing. He rose to fame running the Audi teams to 13 victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and many World Endurance Championships, not to mention DTM, and others. He was also featured very heavily in Audi’s amazing films Truth in 24, and Truth in 24II

Our interactions with Dr. Ullrich were always pleasant and informative, as well as fun. Dr. Ullrich loved chatting about Audi racing, and always seemed more than happy to talk about what was going on.
