Audi Promises ICE-levels of Excitement in EVs

Audi e-tron GT

Audi is going all-in on the EV; we all know that. And there are certainly some things to get excited about regarding this transition from internal combustion to all-electric. Pure speed is one of those things. The instant torque and acceleration that an EV can provide is thrilling. The downside is that even with that speed an EV can be as exciting as wallpaper paste. Pushing an engine to redline as you hear the exhaust roar before you quickly grab for the next gear is as important as the actual speed itself. But Audi seems to have a plan to offer the same level of excitement in the new EV range of vehicles. Click HERE to read the report by Topspeed.

Must Watch Video: 16 Days of Disappointment at Dakar 2023

Audi came into the 2023 Dakar with high hopes. But the Dakar is a cruel and unforgiving race and Audi saw that firsthand this year. Things were actually going quite well until Stage 6. Big crashes and other setbacks then struck and eliminated any hope of Audi taking home the top prize. A video was recently posted on the Audi YouTube channel that summarizes their Dakar effort this year.

AudiWorld Driven

A new A4 is around the corner. And as is often the case with a new design there are mixed feelings of excitement and trepidation. It might be great, but what if it is a disappointment? If the new A4 is no longer appealing to you, what would you buy instead? A thread was started recently in the Audi World forums asking this very question. Would you go with another Audi model? Or would you jump ship and go with something like a Golf GTI? Share your thoughts in the thread by clicking HERE.

But the headlights and taillights are exposed. In addition, there does not seem to be any fake body parts or covers of any kind to distort the overall shape of the car. This is our best look yet. Must Watch Video: $7K Audi S5 Has Laundry List of Issues

The 2008 Audi S5 is a great little coupe. The V8 engine and a manual transmission makes for a lot of fun. And thanks to depreciation these cars can be bought for a reasonable amount of money. But if you are looking for the CHEAPEST Audi S5 that you can buy you should know that the purchase price might be just the beginning of your financial outlay. The Audi S5 in this video was bought for only $6,900. But an inspection revealed that it needs nearly $5,000 in repairs. And that does not include the transmission which may also need major work. Ouch.

Audi S4

If the S5 in the video above is not to your taste, how about a one owner 2000 Audi S4? Sure, it is much older, but it also appears to be in much better shape. The original owner has put 119,000 miles on it, which is not bad for 23 years. The car is listed on Bring a Trailer and the auction is set to end on Sunday, January 29. You still have time to bid and take home a classic Audi sport sedan.
