Though black, white and red are Audi’s official colors, there’s a whole palette to explore. Here are our 10 favorites of all time.

When most people see an Audi these days, they usually see one in black, gray or silver. Maybe even white or red. Audi’s own official colors are black, white and “a progressive red.” Either way, it seems like Ingolstadt’s fallen in line with the rest of the monochrome palette used elsewhere.

Not that Audi doesn’t know how to make stunning colors, a few of which are legendary (and available for special order, as Audi never officially retires a shade). Here are our 10 favorites of all time. And like Audi says for itself, “The order is immaterial because there is no hierarchy here. What matters is that the colors support the message you want to convey.”

Nardo Grey

One of the most beloved grays ever, Nardo Grey captures the light like no other. It’s flat without being matte, and shows off the lines of Audi’s greatest performance machines, like the RS 5 Coupe.

Cameron Aubernon's path to automotive journalism began in the early New '10s. Back then, a friend of hers thought she was an independent fashion blogger.

Aubernon wasn't, so she became one, covering fashion in her own way for the next few years.

From there, she's written for: Louisville.com/Louisville Magazine, Insider Louisville, The Voice-Tribune/The Voice, TOPS Louisville, Jeffersontown Magazine, Dispatches Europe, The Truth About Cars, Automotive News, Yahoo Autos, RideApart, Hagerty, and Street Trucks.

Aubernon also served as the editor-in-chief of a short-lived online society publication in Louisville, Kentucky, interned at the city's NPR affiliate, WFPL-FM, and was the de facto publicist-in-residence for a communal art space near the University of Louisville.

Aubernon is a member of the International Motor Press Association, and the Washington Automotive Press Association.
