I cracked my oil pan a week ago and replaced it yesterday and there is no leaks at all buy when I test drove it the oil light came on like it did when the oil pan cracked. Could it be the oil level sensor ? I've checked underneath the car and no leaks at all and check the dipstick everything seems to be correct.. new oil and filter as well

You did make sure and inspect the pickup tube for debris right? They easily get blocked with junk. This is the red oil light? Or yellow?
