Default 1.8T AMU swap to 1.8t BEA

Looking at picking up a crate motor to replace my original motor but I am looking for advice on problems I will run into. (short story) I currently have a 2001 Audi TT 225hp AMU engine in there that is gonna be replaced with a 225 BEA longblock engine which is from 2003 and up. I know about the Variable Valve timing as a difference, any other pointers to problems or what to look forward to? Thanks

Use a non VVT cam tensioner from your original engine, or a new one. They bolt right on, the heads are the same.
