Hi all

Just for extra information the car is a 2012 model 1.8T

I found that the car had lost about 15mm of coolant and after searching around i found that the the right bottom of the radiator has a dark oli look that expands from the side middle outward like a triangle shape. Does any one know what color the radiator gets when its leaking a small amount? Or is the only way to tell is to take it for a pressure test?

I also heard a steam sound that sounded like water dropping on the exhaust. It sounds like its coming from the mid of the car. Does anyone know what that is? There was also a small clean water spot just behind the gearbox. I think this was the AC but not sure.

i would like to take the car for tests however I am scared it’s something serious and don’t want to cause more damage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
