Cylinder specification, tolerances
I want to rebuild my 1.8T (AEB) block.
What are the tolerances and specifications for the cylinder bore?
I assume:
- diameter
- ovality (?)
I want to determine if the block(s) I have are suitable for rebuild.
Planning to run stock rods (Mahle), new rings. Have Scat rods on hand.
