Diagnosis
Hi all,
I just joined this forum. Thank you for having me☺
I own an Audi A4 Avant (2010 ex Japan) 1.8 TFSI. My car started making shrieking sound barely 2 days after my wife had its engine oil changed. I was far from home and when we engaged someone to check it after I had returned, the car was no longer starting. Well, the battery was low but we have since replaced it. It is still not starting. We have tried a diagnoses with ignition on (though engine not running) but it points to no problem.
1. Must the engine be running at the time the diagnoses is being done?
2. Would appreciate anyone who can figure out what could be causing this? Perhaps you faced a similar problem! Kindly.
