I recently had a new motor installed my car starts runs but when I put it in gear it won't move. Help please

Well. that is strange. Hopefully they bolted the torque converter to the flywheel. I would doubt they lost enough fluid from removing the cooler lines to make it not move. Drive axle broken is another thought. You put it in drive, and it just free revs? Is the gear indicator on the dash center screen at the bottom all Lit up solid red and doesnt show you when the shifter is in D? Need more info.

My mechanic told me he didn't lose any fluids which everyone I talked to found strange and he says he checked transmission fluid and the level was fine which is hard to believe because I've had the car almost 2yrs and haven't replacedanything but the oil when I put the car in drive it doesn't do anything it's awd and I had it towed there on a dolly and my mechanic said that could have possibly fried the transmission but the car was in neutral when I done so . Hopefully I don't have to replace the transmission after just replacing themotor the car was towed very long or fast
