Default long crank

hey guys, so i just had to do a water pump on my 98 a4 quattro 1.8t aeb motor, so i decided to go and do everything, all new tensioners, pulleys, belts thermostat and timing belt, after i was done car started right up no problem. next morning i go to start and i have to crank the motor at least 3 times to get it going and then it runs fine, no check engine light on. whe it starts it runs normal. checked the timing and found to be on time, need your help guys please!!

Probably unrelated. Temp sensor, fuel pump relay, the pump leaking fuel back to the tank. Stuff like that cause hard starts.

Finally got a check engine light, code is for coolant temp sensor low voltage, now I've heard there are 2 on the web 1.8, one behind the head and where's the other one? Anybody know

Uh no there is one to report coolant temp to the ecu and gauge. Its in the plastic coolant flange on the back of the head. 4 pin blue or possibly green sensor.

There is a sensor in the radiator but that is just the fan switch.
