Hey I have a question. Oil pan cracked a while ago. As soon as it cracked I instantly shut the motor off and had it towed. Replaced pan and all that and had the red oil light. Read that the pumps don't usually mechanically fail so I replaced the pickup tube. I also changed the oil pressure switch but it has a little leak I think because I don't think it's very tight and my brother noticed an an o ring underneath my car and I saw a digram where the switch goes and it looks like it's an o ring or some thing. Could that oring and not being tight be the oil light problem ? I caused no motor damaged at all so what else could be the problem?

You sure theres no motor damage? When does the oil pressure light come on? All the time? Only when the engine is super hot and driven awhile? Does the light turn off if you raise the rpms? Does it sound ok? Need alittle more info.
