Hey everyone, I recently got chipped with APR's k04 software. I had their software for my k03s before I upgraded my turbo, never had any problems. But every time I drive my car since I got re-chipped, I get an under boost fault: P0299... My N75 is brand new, and my DV is pretty new too. I boost leak tested my car, and it hold pressure past 20 PSI. All the mods for my car were purchased brand new from ECS. With my Vag-Com I logged my boost in MB 115, requested vs. actual, this is what I got: requesting 18.7 psi under load, actual is 13.2 psi (and my boost guage agrees with actual.) I performed a log of a third gear pull from about 2k rpm to 6500rpm. Here is what the log shows:

I also tried unplugging the N75 and driving my car just to verify if it was working properly... N75 unplugged, my car boosts 3-5 PSI...

I am having the exact same issue as you, only my car is completely stock. When I took the car to my Audi dealer, P0299 came up with a catalytic converter code. I was looking to do most of the upgrades you have mentioned to remedy the problem. Now I will have to put that project on hold and see what it really could be! Were you having these issues before you did the modifications?

I replaced my n75 with ECS's race n75, and I reversed my diaphragm diverter valve so that it could hold boost longer. But typically the code is caused by a boost leak around the TIP or n75 valve. Oddly enough I've also noticed that my overboost codes are normally caused by vacuum leaks on the lines by my intake manifold...

Its been said that our race N75 valve can be sketchy with different tunes.

Some tunes it works fine others will cause limp mode.

What they don't tell you about the stage 1 chip is that your L hose unless new will more then likely need to be replaced sometimes with other hoses.. It cracks causing a vacuum leak which is the reason for the random misfires. It is not your coils...i made the mistake of replacing those. I also had to replace the n76. Lastly if your clutch is going out you will definitely notice it slipping after all the added pounds of boost because you have problems engaging.

I have a very similar setup to you and I am getting the dreaded code. Did you ever figure this p0299 issue?
