I am looking at the possiablity of putting a 2.8l V6 from a 96 A6 into a 92 100CS. What differances are there to the engine from 92 to 96? Has anyone done this and what issues were there?

Are there any issues with swaping the engine from a front wheel drive into a quattro? or from a manual to auto trans?

yes, auto has a bushing at the end of the crank where the torque flywheel is.
so which car is which? also whats the fan and belt differences you have between the engines?

The 92 100CS is the Auto trans. i would love it if it were a manual but alas no manual Quatto wagons to be found.
