I currently have the A4 resonator and it eliminates a tone of noise. I am now looking for alternate options. The A4 resonator was freaking $350.

Default Resonator in the center section of my car

I just swapped one of these in this past weekend and I can't be happier. Gives just enough noise to sound mellow and nice, supplies the engine with more than enough back pressure for good low end torque and none of that backfiring/raspy noise on deceleration, and best thing about it it's $20 to try. They have bigger sizes, just call. Its the twin tube turbopack (second one down). I put it in the center channel running down the car.

Link
