Big cooilant leak but no overheating?
Dear all,
so I drove my 95 cab today to go to work and noticed some coolant smell in the cabin. The car never overheated during the trip. When I pulled into my garage and turned the car off I saw steam coming out of the hood and a big puddle formed under the driver's side of the engine. I opened the hood and heard a lot of gurgling noise from the engine...the coolant tank was not entirely empty...What do you think
Thanks in advance
Fred

i think you got a coolant leak...
is your question, did my car overheat because of the leak? if so, the answer is its possible, but i would not drive it without fixed the problem first and filling with proper amount of G12

crack in the expansion tank
Dear all,
after removing the coolant expansion tank, washing and rinsing it thoroughly, I checked it for leak and could not find anything.
Put it back, topped it and went for a drive.
When I came back the coolant was spraying out of the return plastic line of the tank. Guess it's time for a new tank!
Thanks for all your advises
