Having never seen one, would somebody explain how the cam seal removal tool 3240 removes the seal? Also, if I was that far in to the job, would there be a benefit to removing the bearing caps and the cam shaft and would that make the cam seal job any easier or better? Is there more risk in that than anything else? Also, if you are that far in, why has no one mentioned checking the lifter clearance per the Bentleys?
