Default Could someone give me some insight on these three codes I got the other day. I cleared the codes but

just want to know whats going on.

I got 17912, intake air system leak;
17658, fuel level too low cylinder 1;
16690, cylinder 6 - cylinder 2.

Also, why does it name 2 different cylinders in the same code?

Default 16690 is a misfire. If those two cylinders are on the same coil, it could be a bad coil.

The best thing to do is clear the codes and see if they return (and which ones return). I have had misfire and fuel level codes accompany other codes and it turns out they were erroneous. If you get the same codes again, I would find the air leak and fix it. Could be a vacuum hose, TB gasket, hose clamp, etc.

Good luck.

Could O2 sensors throw these codes? Do you have the generic bosch sensors? How are they?

Default I didn't have good luck with the Generics and am now running the Audi ones.

According to Bentley, there are 3 possible causes for th 17912:

1. Air Leak in Intake System
2. IAC sticks mechanically
3. 2nd stage of throttle body does not close completely

Default 17658 says "Large air leak quantity in intake system to Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor -G70- "

If this accompanies a misfire, it also says

When combustion misfiring is recognized, are there other Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) (e.g. fuel injector, Oxygen Sensor Proben, Fuel system etc.) in DTC memory

broken breather hose could be a culprit as well I'm guessing.
