Default Engine Management System

Whats the cost for this halltech system you are putting in the 12valve. And does it increase hp or does it just give you more control over the engine and meas. blocks

Default "stand alone" engine management is the "only" way to get more timing out of the Hitachi ECU cars...

it wont "give" me more HP as much as it will allow me benefit from HP increases. Its the only way to get more timing out of the engine and the only way to be able to dial in better fuel air maps for other upgrades like pistons, cams, ported/polished everything.

It will also allow me to adjust things like manifold switchover on-the-fly as well as timing while I drive.

Yeah, cost huh... well lets just say a LOT! 2/3 of whay I paid for my car. But less than 1/10 of what I'm sinking in my new engine. Have I mentioned I LOVE THIS CAR!!

Default we are a HallTech distributor. And HallTech is a spin-off of MoTec...

we use HallTech exclusively. They sponsor our race car. We have all the knowledge, expertise, telemetry and inventory to service it in-stock. And since I buy at cost even the biggest, most dynamic box offered by HallTech with more bells/buzzers than 034EFI can even begin to approach is less money.

Default Re: we are a HallTech distributor. And HallTech is a spin-off of MoTec...

Are you sure you are a "Halltech" distributor?

I would think a distributor should know how to spell the name "Haltech".

Why dont you tell us about the capabilities that the biggest badest haltech unit offers over the 034efi stage 2C?

Default does anyone have a better part list for this mod? im dumb lol

OK so im currently stranded with a 2.8 12v 96 a4 that is idleing rough and throwing the code "cylender 2 misfire", oh well Ill figure it out, But I am VERY VERY interested in this "individual coil idea" mainly because I am the one who is trying to develop and sell a rear mount turbo system for our cars and this would be a nice add on to the overall system. My question is, can somebody give me a more complete parts list and/or a set of pictures to complete this mod. I know there is a parts list above, but it is very vauge and is just numbers, im not smart enough to follow it
thanks, asv4k8@missouri.edu -Anthony. ALSO, Mance are you out there in cyberspace?, can you give me your email you seem to know alot more about these 2.8's than I and I could use your advice on a number of things!!!
