Locate cam position sensor- 1995 Cabriolet

Can someone help me find the cam position sensor on a 1995 Cabriolet 2.8 V6.

On the back of the drivers side cam cover.

I have a no start no crank issue , drove it home went inside cam our an hour later , it has lights come on dash and no start no crank help

Sounds like a defective ignition switch. When they break it causes all kind of electrical chaos. Not hard to replace. I have attached a guide. You do not need to remove the switch assembly.

Part number 4A0905849B and you want the real thing, not an aftermarket part. Audi says they are NLA.(Just awful) But VW still sells them and Jim Ellis has them for $33. https://www.jimellisvwparts.com/prod...A0905849B.html
