It is a part of the Conti-tech belt, rollers and water pump kit..never saw that logo before. It is working just fine. Plastic impeller. Looked well made.

An update on the water pump. Leaking coolant after 42K miles and installed August 2013. No more Conti-tech kits for me.

I have a Hepu and a VW/Audi OEM re-manufactured 078121006X on the shelf. My thinking is use the OEM waterpump..maybe not and go with the Hepu.

Got the ContiTech kit from FCP Euro and they are warrantying the kit water-pump..lifetime guarantee promise ..still a pain..I am just going to install a new timing belt, thermostat and rollers while I'm in there

As a follow up FCP Euro warrantied the entire ContiTech kit..timing belt, roller, tensioner and water pump. No charge except the postage to return the defective water pump and misc parts. No questions asked with great customer service.
