outside air temp reads -55F momentarily after stalling
I am having a no start hot problem. The car will start cold everytime and at some point will stall. If it is hot it will not start and from what i can tell it is a no spark/no fuel condition, so i think it must be sensor related. It usually takes quite awhile before the car will restart but I thought it might be the cam sensor preventing it from restarting and if i pack ice on that sensor it will restart fairly quickly. The car will run with the sensor unplugged so i am not sure this is the reason it is dying, possibly multiple things going wrong here. But after trying to restart the car the outside air temp display will momentarily read -55F and has once read 133F before returning to the correct temperature. I saw somewhere online a comment that a scan tool can sometimes display this same thing and it indicates the ECU losing its ECT signal and substituting the value in an attempt to keep running with a faulty ECT sensor. Otherwise the outside temp reading is always 100% w/ no issues. Has anyone else ever heard of this???

I finally learned how to pull the codes and was getting 2113 and 2114. Cam codes. I swapped the cam sensor and now it no longer has this starting issue, but it idles a little rough and has lost some power so i wonder if something else is still wrong.
