Removing Power Steering Pump on 1996 A4 Quattro
Heya,
The title pretty much says it- having some issues removing it, so I'm thinking I'm missing something here. I got it loose, but when I try to remove it, it hits the housing where the two bolts came out (red circles) while trying to come forward, but seems like it has to for (blue circle) to come out.
What's more confusing to me, is that the pump I was sent doesn't have that input on it... Thanks!

The power steering pump comes off with the bracket as an assembly. Once the bracket and pump are on the bench..you separate the pump. The pump is held on the bracket with three bolts. The bracket is held on the engine with four bolts or allens. Two are under the bracket in the front and two up top.
