Default simple bolt ons

I gotta 97 12v quattro, and cant really find any parts for my car. I want i bigger throttle body but dont want to do the exchanged becuase i need my car as a daily driver, from work and school and back. I would also like to get a better mass air flow sensor, cams, forged pistons. pretty much the works, but i can never find any parts for the 12v. would anyone be able to help me out with parts, such as these?

buy the maf/throttle body at a junk yard and then send it in.

Default Finding parts

Your best bet is probably to find a nearby junkyard with a wrecked A4 and pull the parts from it. http://www.car-part.com/ is a handy resource.

Default I happen to be holding a friends S3 Throttle body...

He want $250 plus shipping for it, without exchange.

What i did to get my S3 MAF was find a core that Mance would accept on car-parts.com and have it shipped directly to him. Cost me $65. Threw my old MAF away when his arrived. (actually have it for sale- see below)

Oh, if having one shipped to Mance is too difficult, I have 2 modified 471A (4 wire) MAFs I will sell for $150 each plus shipping. They are not as good as a S3 MAF from AA, but they work better than stock. Just ask Nothing.

You don't need an exchange for the silicon hoses, recovery sleeve or velocity stack.

Good luck.

Default That's an awesome throttle body price!

I half considered it myself as a backup, since I trust steel more than epoxy, but that would be silly since I have my stock throttle body as a backup. Those Stage 3 units were nice units, but my SXTB is incredible.

And yes, my self-modified (big restriction removed, no change in bore) 078133471 is working great, especially since the addition of your mini velocity stack in the sampling tube. Thanks!
