What is the correct oil pressure for a 12v?...
just installed oil pressure gauge and got around 80psi at cold start up. Didn't have a chance to test drive to see any variations in pressure because i got a oil leak at oil cooler

80 psi at idle?
Iil pressure is highly dependent on oil temperature and oil viscosity. The more resistance to flow (cold oil), the higher the pressure.
With the WARM engine the pressure should be:
14.5-36 psi at idle
43-72 psi at 3000 RPM
