Hi there Gents,

I have a leaking injector on my 2.8 v6 aah 1993. I had the seals changed on all. The problem persists. I swopped the bank of injectors from left to right as you face the windscreen. The same injector leaks on the side it was over swopped to.

I bought an injector off an engine EXACTLY like mine from tne scrapyard. I even saw the AAH engraving on it. However, the injector I bought has the following number on it 078133551 while the one on my engine has 078133551A on it. The one on my car has a white top end while the one I bought is completely black.

My query to the gents are:

What is the difference?
Will it work on my car?
Is there a potential for engine damage?
Why do injectors leak even if seals are changed?

P. S. The agents want R2500=00 for ONE new injector. So I told the guy on the phone I was only looking for the injector and not the whole engine LOL!!
