Doublespeeded

HI guys,


I am currently looking at buying an 2012' Audi 2.0T Quattro (2013 facelift version released in late 2012).


Whilst comparing it to the 2013 model, which looks identical on the exterior and interior.
I noticed on paper, the power output between the two were different; 2012 - 155kw @ 4300-6000rpm vs 2013 - 165kw @4500-6250 (same torque 350Nm).


Then I noticed that the engine codes are different; 2012 = CDN & 2013 = CNC.
The 2012 is listed as 'Direct Injection' & the 2013 is 'Direct & Multi-point Injection', which probably enabled a different tune, increasing the fuel efficiency & reduce emissions.


What I would really like to know is, what are your thoughts and experiences with CNC (2013 onwards) Vs. CDN (up to 2012), in terms of reliability, servicing etc etc. Was the CDN a lesser motor that Audi felt the need to come up with a new and improved one? or Would I be making a mistake to buy an A4 with the CDN motor?

I apologise if I sound inexperienced, as this would be my first European/luxury compact car. I'm fairly excited but find it daunting at the same time. your support will be greatly appreciated.
