Could you explain the difference between 2012 and 2013 2.0 tfsi engines?

I'm in the U.S. market, looking at A5's, and am concerned about durability issues.

I'd suggest you look at threads on the A4 and the A5 forums which address the various differences in detail. Unfortunately the 2012 2.0T had some inherent design issues which could cause oil leakage and premature engine failure. IMHO, I wouldn't touch a pre-2012 2.0T engine, but that's for you to decide if the risk is worth it.
