fuel pressure regulator 2 performance

fuel pressure regulator 2 performance
I have a 2006 Audi A3 2.0 TFSI quattro. It has already 175.000 km and I bought it since it had 34.000 km 9 years ago.
For a few months I am experiencing a very weird error that I cannot diagnose, nor any of the service guys where I have been.
The behaviour is like this: when I am on the highway at 120-150 km/h it suddenly cuts the gas and leaves me with no power, yet is does not decelerate under 3800-4000 rev/m . I cannot accelerate more and it does not go away from there unless I stop somewhere so that the error goes away.
The error is "P2293 - fuel pressure regulator 2 performance". First it appears like a pending code and after some time it goes to permanent codes. If I delete it the car starts to hit the gas again and behaves normally.
I have recently replaced the following 3 parts:
The fuel pump 06F127025K and its cam follower
Vacuum pump 06D145100F
N80 valve
The problem is that one of the service guys told me that the Pierburg pump I got (brand new) was not good and need to take the same one as the car used to have, a Hitachi. We bought it, installed it and the problem showed up again in 1 day, so obviously it was not the pump even though the error code indicates it.
Can someone give me other ideas on how to diagnose without breaking the pocket?
