need help 2.0tfsi

Hey guys I have a 09 a3 quattro my car got down to an 1/8 tank of gas then started stalling out now my check engine light is on, anyone have these problems or know what the issue could be?

Well the level sensor could be bad and your running out of gas, or the fuel pump assembly is not sitting down all the way in the tank.
