Rock and Hard Place.. Send Help..P0420 Code
Hello! New to Audi's but come from a higher hp AWD import (Evo 8). My new daily (2011 A4 B8 2.0T Quattro Avant) decided to spit out the P0420 code at me. Debating if I really need to get a new cat or if I would be able to get a new O2 and fix the issue.
If I do have to get a new cat, I'm assuming that getting a HFC would be the way to go? Car is stock and tuning would not be done til spring so car would be running un-tuned for the time being. The only other kicker is the mileage on the car (189K). Afraid if I start with the tuning bug on this I will be in a world of hurt. (All oil fixes have been done to the car, along with reg maintenance.)
