Can someone pass opinion on the scratches on my cam lobes, worst are the ones at top loft of photo,.

I found this while replacing the cam cover gasket. by the way, the screws are made of chocolate so beware if you are in about the area...

car specs:

A4 2.0 TFSI QUATTRO 197Hp version.
2006 MODEL
B7 BWE engine
98000 miles
no obvious issues other than the visible scratches.

Hi, i think this is a well documented common problem. Got to do with cam followers and usually requires cam replacement at this stage..or re profiling.
