08 w/ a Stuck valve
 

I've got an 08 A6 front wheel drive w/ 82,000+ miles & a stuck valve. Dealer says new engine for $16k. Audi dealer has performed all maintenance as scheduled. Thoughts please? Is there a history of this? I've had to add a quart of oil (dealer did) between every scheduled service. Thanks.

You've posted this in the 2.7t engine forum. Probably not going to get much help here as 2004 was the last year of the 2.7t.

My mistake obviously, I'm not a car guy. The car is at the dealership along with all of my papers. If it's not a 2.7 what would it be?

Depends on what country you are in. If it's a US car then it's a 3.2 and you will want to post this in the A6 C6 forum.
