Hi, new here.

I bought a 2001 Allroad 2.7 w/108,XXX knowing it had issues, so don't flame me.

1. No reverse when hot, and PO741. I'm 99% sure that oil leaking on my harness is causing a solenoid to malfunction. I know I need a TC, and valve body. I'll DIY that, along with the VCG's.

2. While the engine/trans is out, I'd like to upgrade the turbos. I've been looking at the K04 kit on ebay for $1300. Any issues with these? I called the company, and they seem GTG.

3. My other option is to go with a 6-speed swap. Any insight?

4. The car does have a warranty (People's Choice Protection from Carchex), but there are no shops in my area (Durango, CO).

Before you spend a few thousand dollars, take the drive to someone that can fix it under warranty. At least then you will have a properly running car. While you figure out how to do everything else correctly.
