2001 B5 S4 2.7 - Idle issues

Hopefully a quick question here...
I have a 2001 B5 S4 2.7, APR ECU upgrade. The car is not a daily driver. Car seems to run fine while being driven... I had the car "stored" over the winter (~6 months). Tank was full/mostly-full while stored. After having some issues with the car maintaining an idle after a hot commute home about a week ago, I added some Sea Foam and took the car out for a drive today. (last week, it was very hot and humid, car would stall and be very difficult to restart - It would back fire during ignitition and not "catch" during turn over.)

I took the car out for a 20-minute drive. When I returned to the garage I placed the car in neutral and let it idle. Oil temp was about 215 deg F, Engine temp was at 12 o'clock. AC was not on.

The engine would idle at about 8-9k. Every 15-20 seconds the engine rpms would dip down to 2-3k almost stall, then it (engine management?) would kick in and bump the rpms back up to 10-11k, then it would settle back down to 8-9k for another 15-20 seconds and then the cycle would repeat.

Is this just a case of "bad fuel" at this point, or is it indicative of something else like a wonky fuel pump?

Thanks much!

Looks like it was just old/bad gas. Ran down the fuel, refilled with 93 octane and a couple applications of seafoam and all is well!
