Default 2003 A6 2.7T Tip(5spd) Please read and help me figure this out

Ok here's the deal. Using 93 Octane.
Getting 13-17 MPG since i bought it on 10-05-2006
Same result with 89 and 87 octane gas.

Both front O2 censors replaced and computer not giving any warnings.

I will get about 12-14.5 mpg if every time I accelerate I go up to but not over 4500-5000 rpm or 16-17 mpg If I cruise at 75 mph in the highway. (this is what i would consider hard driving)

Is this mpg rate (car is rated 18 city 25 highway) normal?

Besides O2 censors what else should i look for that is causing the car to run rich without the computer noticing it?

Default yes..but don't go by the data screen..

do the math at fill up. it more acurate.

MPG rates are base on a math formula not real world driving.

I dont follow the computer. I top off my gas tank and then when I get gas again I divide the miles I drove since I filled up by the number of gallons of gas I am putting back into the tank.
