710N diverter valve
I have a 2001 Audi A6 2.7T manual transmission. I was curious if upgrading my diverter valve to a new one or to the one that APR has make a big difference in driving. I experience no problems with my car but I am trying to make small, cheap adjustments over time and I read that it is good to replace the current valve to a 710n diverter. It is APR chipped. Just need advice.

Get the 710 Dv's. They are better than stock and cheaper than OEM, a very rare thing on these cars. Make sure and get yourself the oetiker style ear clamp tool for the job, and some clamps as the clamps that attach to the nipple of the valves are in a recess. Pretty tough to try and reuse those on your new valves after you destrtoy them to get them off. I tried and failed. Suitable substitutes of a clamp are tough to come by, but i was able to use a similar crimping clamp from some aircraft parts i have laying around. Enjoy.
