90K and counting - miles and dollars
Any thoughts on what dies next on a 2002 A6 2.7T with 90K? Timing belt and requisite parts kit replaced at 75K, as was the torque converter. Trying to decide whether to invest here or in another vehicle.

Thanks for asking - as of today, front struts (leaking), auxiliary water pump (leaking) and coolant reservoir (cracked), rear rotors and pads (typical wear and tear, of course). Shop says everything else in good order. Coolant leak prompted the trip to the shop; the leaky strut was a surprise. We discussed diverter valve replacement, but not needed now. So, I'm sticking with it and hoping that I get to mid-100K range before I have to seriously consider replacement...but I can live with the equivalent of $200-250/month average repairs for now as long as I still like the car (and I have to admit I do).
So, any thoughts on whether regular maintenance will keep me rolling for a while without more major repairs?
