Default Abnormal Misfire Situation

So I've tried what I can on this one and I am stumped. Driving an 02 A6 with the 2.7t. Was sitting in a parking lot idling when the engine started misfiring. Turned off, let it sit for and hour and came back to the same problem. MIL only flashed when tach went over 4k or so. Got home and ran code reader getting 3 codes. P0300, P0302 & p0305. The first one is what I'm guessing to be junk. The next two though throw out any idea of a bad ICM since they are on different banks from what I've read. Swapped the #5 & #6 plugs and coil but codes remained the same. Any help at all would be appreciated.

Maybe oil in the spark plug wells from leaking camshaft cover gaskets? Also P0300 usually proceeds the misfires DTCs for individual cylinders.

Swap the connectors on the front ICM/POS module to with the rear one and see if the misfires change cylinders. If so, the ICM/POS module is taking a dump.

Has anything been fixed for you? I seem to have a similar issue with mine. Random and multiple misfires on cylinders 4,5,6... Lots on 5. I've swapped plugs on my icm's, swapped and replaced coils, replaced spark plugs, Swapped fuel injectors, replaced fuel injector seals, smoke tested the intake system. Pulled the valve cover for the drivers side( I believe that is 4,5,6) to inspect the camshaft chain tensioner pads( I've heard these can fall apart and cause issues).. Needless to say I'm short on ideas.
