I bought laser platinum plugs and it seems to be a really good replacement. The plugs I replaced were iridium and they were torn up. Does Audi not like iridium? And Audi machanics told me these Laser platinums were just as good if not better then iridiums. He didn't recommend copper due to longevity being a major problem in the 2.7L

Yes the laser platinum work very well. I also like the Bosch +4 platinum plugs for these engines.

Yeah I was looking into those Bosch +4. These lasers do fine tho. Maybe next change I'll try Bosch and see if I can see a difference. Or a preference. Might just come down to a personal preference.
