Anyone else wish that the car mags did a "farewell" story on the 2.7T?

Obviously, I'm biased, but it seems like the 2.7T is fading into history without a send-off. I particularly think that the last of the A6 s-lines are worthy of a final test. They finally got the suspension and tire setup right.

Default i think the 2.7t still has potential for future tuning innovations

just because they stop producing it doesn't mean people stop owning/modding them. Turbo engines like this have become very popular in the past for used moddable cars. Thats a good idea though.

Default yup, all good stuff. Most limited production turbo cars seem to be almost timeless.

It still staggers me to see GNs that are almost 20 years old going for $10k plus in good condition.
