Default Anyone ever replaced the Engine Coolant Temp Circuit on there car?

Is it a simple DIY or must take to dealer.

The dealer wants about $217 (part $37 labor $180 1.5 hrs).

Have any of you done this yourself? DO you have to take alot of things off to get to the part?
