Audi 2.7LT Allroad Engine rattling

Engine makes a loud rattle nice like a fan or something spinning is causing it. Usually at idle or when giving gas.

hard to say: I had a problem with a waterpump bearing going out.

best to take it in a shop for this one

check engine fan, might have a chunk missing

does it sound a bit like something caught in fan?
varies with engine rpm?

pop the hood and check, you can spin the fan by hand

i lost a big chunk 6 months ago, so have allroaders, might pay to check...before it gets worse
