B5 S4 Oil Change

Hey guys, I'm new to this website but I have no where else to turn so I figured I'd give this a shot.
I need to get an oil change on my 2002 S4,I t's automatic.
I've read many forums and websites and even watched videos on how to do it but I haven't found a concrete answer on a few things and I love my car way to much to not do what's absolutely best for it. I've been taking it in to the dealership for an oil change but that's about an hour and a half drive from where I live. So here's my questions.

What oil filter so I use? I've read on various forums that the OEM filter is to small and there's a bigger size better fit for the job. What size is that and what are the top brands I should be using?
That was my main question, I'm sure I could figure the rest out from here but if someone would be kind enough to respond to these other questions it would be appreciated.

What tools will be needed?

What other parts will be needed? (Drain bolt, washer for drain bolt)?

What weight of oil should I be using? I live in Wisconsin and it's winter right now. It's been a warm winter, usually in the teens to high twenties.

Is there anything else I should know before going into this?

I appreciate your time. Have a fantastic day 😁
